Vintage @ Whoopsi Daisy

Aloha everyone!
Hope you enjoying the spring weather wherever you are... In Hawaii we have a beautiful sunshine & breezy day :)

At Whoopsi Daisy, we have a new challenge for you. I know some of you love vintage and this is your time to show us your beautiful vintage creations. Ok to be honest this is my very first time to make a vintage card. For more inspirations please check out the DT's amazing creations, their blogs on my side bar. Thanks!

Ok here is my first vintage card. This is my first time to used this technique too. I used old dictionary pages for collage background then used Mode Podge. I made my flower too from the dictionary pages. I added the doily, lace, pearls and buttons for embellishments. I'm so glad I had to try new things that I never did before. Thank you Audrey for this great challenge :) I love how my vintage cards turned out. I'll make more of vintage cards, I love it.

Here is my second vintage card. I used the Basic Grey pattern paper for the background. I recycled this corrugated paper from box and another recycled lace from old dress and made into flowers. I want to share the sketch I used in this card you can find it HERE you can find more sketch there :)

Spring Time

Happy Monday everyone! It's Spring Time at Whoopsi Daisy, yes I love Spring... Come join our Spring challenge, all your projects for spring are welcome. I made easel card for this challenge, and of course used spring colors. I really love this cute image, I added stickles in her hat and the flowers in her dress. Then I added my handmade crepe paper flowers and again added some stickles. I used Basic Grey pattern paper.

Glitter & Glitz @ Whoopsi Daisy

Aloha everyone! We have a beautiful weather here in Hawaii :) yes sunny day.... It's monday meaning we have a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy. Again this week challenge is a favorite of everyone :) it's Glitter & Glitz who doesn't like these sparkles stuffs. Link your projects with all the Glitter & Glitz to Whoopsi Daisy. In my card I used almost recycled stuffs. Fist the doilies I got 2 from restaurant lol. Then the pink and purple tissue papers. I just love the textured of the crumpled tissue papers. In my image I added the bead necklace with heart charm. And I added my handmade purple flower from tissue paper. Here is a close up to see the sparkles...

Celebrate Easter @ Whoopsi Daisy

Aloha everyone!
WOW! This week we celebrate Easter at Whoopsi Daisy. So this is a great time to show us your creations for Easter. Anything you can create are welcome as long as it's new. Come join us and link your new projects with easter theme in our challenge blog. All the designers made amazing easter bags and cards so visit their blog and give them some love. Thank you! I'm so glad that I used my Cricut Expression again :) My first project is round goody bag for my girl's friends. I used the plantin schoolbook cartridge to cut this round bag. Again I made the yelow ribbon flower and added the paper pieced butterfly. Of course I used this cute image from Whoopsi Diasy and if you like this image you can buy it in the
store.

Pile on Flowers

Ribbons & Charms @ Whoopsi Daisy

Aloha everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
WOW! It's our first week challenge of March at Whoopsi Daisy. This week challenge is my turn to give you an easy challenge. You have to use some ribbon & charm in your card or any projects. I altered this box from pop tarts the 3rd photo below into an easter basket. I made this for my dear daughter for her best friend. She'll put some candies and more stuffs she wants to give. I just love how it turned out and I love this spring colors of it. I used the K&Company-paper pattern, MM-ribbon, Plaid-cardstock and I made the orange flower with charm. I recycled the 2 silk flowers from a center piece I got from a party of my niece. Again I used the other image from the sheet #196.

Let's get all cute @ Whoopsi Daisy

Aloha everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
It's monday again... a new challenge at the Whoopsi Daisy this one is called *Let's get all cute*. Another great challenge so link all your cute projects in our challenge blog. Here is my first card, I used 2 images one is from the sheet #174 and the sheet #197 you can find in Linnie's store. I think these duckie and chick are cute together :) After I colored the images I added the dew drops, bling and my handmade flower. Even it's simple I love how it turned out.

Ok here is my 2nd card, I used the same image the cute chick. I hand drew this basket and hand cut it. I'm so lazy to use my cricut expression. In this card I wrapped the fussy yarn to the handle then added my handmade flower (yellow tissue with pink pearl).

Whoopsie Daisy challenge- For Someone Special

Hello everyone!
We have another easy challenge at Whoopsi Diasy this week. It's for someone special in your family and your friends. You can make anything for your someone special, so please link your creations at the challenge blog. Please check outLinnie's store for her special offer and a lovely freebie it's perfect for the spring.
I made a note pad for my special friend. My second project from my BIA, I really love this mini machine. In my image I added orange stickles to the flower and the bow on her hair. I added this big button with "friends forever" it's perfect sentiment. I used my old prima flowers added button, toho seeds bead and the green shell teardrop bead. And final touch I added some ribbons on the wire, this is a great used of my ribbon scraps.

Ok I have an Easter shape card to share with you today. I used my Cricut Expression to cut this easter basket from the doodlecharms cartridge. Then I covered with my woven paper pattern and cardstock. I hand drew the eggs then added stickles, ribbons, flowers and paint them.

I really love this cute bear with flowers. I used pink cardstock to paper pieced the cute bear and added stickles to the flowers . I crocheted the pink ribbon and attached to the pattern paper. I embossed the white cardstock with the Swiss Dots cuttelbug embossing folder. And I would like to share this card at Betty Bee's Buzz for the creative ways to use ribbon.

Lace & Pins @ Whoopsi Daisy

Aloha everyone! I'm sure some of you are done their shopping for the Holidays. And some never start yet just like me lol... yes I always do the last minute shopping. ^-^
This is our last challenge at Whoopsi Daisy for this year. We challenge you to use some lace and pins in your creations. The challenge will run for 3 weeks so you have enough time to make something and join us. We can't wait to see what you can come up to. I made my card so simple this time and I love it. Onto the challenge this week is Sparkle. Please link your projects with sparkle at theWHOOPSI DAISY. Anything that has sparkles like glitters, jewels, stickles, pearls, charms and designer papers that shine. Here is my altered cereal box turned into digi image holder. This box's for all my Whoopsi Daisy digi images. In this project, I recycled many things. First, the old pink tissue paper I used it as a background of my image, the white flower with pearls from old dress of my lil girl and I made the bead necklace of my image from old bead bracelet. Final touch I added the crocheted pink ribbon and white fiber on both sides. Oh please don't forget to pick up your letter here is it C. WDC Pile on the flowers

Aloha everyone! WOW! It's September 1st already? I couldn't believed my lil guy is 3 y/o today :) Happy Birthday my sweet baby... Ok so SeptemBER meaning it's Christmas yes!!! I'm pretty sure everybody are busy getting started for the Holidays...

Ok as you all know every 1st day of the month we have a new challenge at the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog. This month challenge is Pile on the Flowers that's easy... Who don't love flowers? I know all of us love flowers, so what are you waiting for? Please link your projects HERE I can't wait to see what you create. Finally I made a card for this challenge. I tried something different to my digi image. The dress I wanted to make it look like plaid but it didn't came out the way I wanted to be. I have to figure it out how I'm going to do this. For the hat I just used the colored pencils. Again in the recycle part I used the old used tissue paper for my flowers. They came out good I love it.

WHOOPSI DAISY challenge * Blue & Green*

Aloha everyone!!! Hope you all doing great!
Another new challenge at the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge , this month challenge is Blue & Green. My project for this month is another altered plastic package from the envelopes. Instead of throwing the package I altered it for my handmade assorted cards and I want to give it to my friend. I used my new K&Company double sided papers for the top and bottom. I added my old prima flowers and I got the blue butterfly and the green leaves from the center piece of my niece grad party. I used the sweet image from Whoopsi Daisy Designs this is the sheet #52. I did the paper piece with the pant and the hat. But I added blue stickles in the hat.

*Just wanted to share 2 more of my tote bag that made for my relatives in my country. I ♥ how they turned out and I'm so glad to know that my relatives love it too. Now I need to make more for my friends and for my other relatives. I know it's not that great but they like it. lol...
