Finally I'm Back.....

Finally I'm back... I'm sorry for MIA in 3 months. WOW! I couldn't believed that long. But I hope everyone are doing great. We have a beautiful sunny day today here in Aloha State :) I really miss all my friends here in blogland. Time to go blog hop and join challenges again.
Ok I want to share you some of my creations during my break :) My first project is a mini note pad I made for our challenge at the Whoopsi Daisy. This week challenge is Sparkle & Shine any creations are welcome. Now is time to use all our rhinestons, pearls, stickles, glitter papers and many more that shines. In my project I used stickles aroud the frame of my image, rhinestones, beads & pearls. This sweet image is from Whoopsi Daisy, you can find at Linnie's store and this is the sheet# 242. TDS Wed Sketch & Some great news

Hello everyone.... WOW! It's a sunny day here in Hawaii....

I can't believe it's wednesday again, means another wonderful sketch at TDS . In my card I used my fave digi image from TDS called floral sillhouette, I love this pretty image. And I used the digi paper from The Creative Cottage Challenge that I won. I love these girly papers. Please check the DT's creations for inspirations. And don't forget to link your creations HERE . Here is a close up to see the butterfly charm,I added pink stickles. And I added mod podge to the pink flower. I love how it turned out. I recycled the black ribbon from the old dress and the pearls from the old doll of my lil girl.

Graduation money leis

These are some of the graduation money leis that I made for my daughter and her 2 best friends.

More graduation money leis. The gorgeous butterflies and the heart was from my great friend Mila. She's so talented in making money leis. We love them, thank you so much Mila. I made the blue and white lei with dime in the center of the flower. And the last beautiful lei was from one of Charlene's best friend.

Graduation money lei for 2 challenges

At Rosie Dee's Challenge Blog Week #17 Rosie's challenge is to show and share your floral side. I used money folding flower and ribbons flowers with buttons..


This weeks challenge at Arty Girlz Challenge Blog is to use buttons on your creations, it must have at least 1 button on it. I used buttons in my flowers for the gradutaion money lei.

This was so much fun, my first time to make the money folding flower. I added the ribbon flower on top then attatched to the big ribbon. See the last photo for the whole lei.

This is the red ribbon flower, I learned this from my mother she was a dress making. She created pretty flowers from ribbons, buttons, laces and fabrics. I couldn't make as beautiful as hers. I sew a straight line on the other side and then pull the thread to form into circle then tied it and added the button on top.

This is the mini graduation cap that I made for the lei. I emptied the ribbon spool I took out the other side and then cover with black cardstock on the other side. I added the red stickles around it, red fibers and a crystal brad.

My friend asked me to make her a money lei. But I told her that I never made any lei before. But she beg me so for the very fisrt time I gave it a go. It's not too bad, I love how it turned out.
