Christmas 2008

As I promised I have to pass this fabulous blog award. My sweet friend Gez gave me this award before christmas. Thank you so much Gez, you really a great and wonderful friend.

OUR PHOTOS CHRISTMAS 2008
Dec. 27, 2008. All the 3 photos on top was taken inside the Honolulu Hale and the rest was outside. Everyone was really happy and enjoyed the rides.

Dec. 25, 2008 Christmas Day!!! Everyone couldn't wait to open their presents. My oldest dd opened her first present on christmas eve. lol. Early in the morning Angela and Baby Paul was really excited when they saw the one without wrap. Everyone was really happy and love their presents.
Dec. 24, 2008 At Pearlridge Shopping Center. Baby Paul was crying he didn't want to seat on Santa's lap so I was there too :) Some more photos taken at the mall.

Dec. 20, 2008 This was taken in my cousin's house one of my other cousin came from the Philippines and they gave her a welcome party. I never seen her in 10 years, everyone was really happy to see each other again. We had so much fun.

I WON again @ Scrapbook News and Review

Finally, I got my prize from the Cuttlebug Camp. The $10 gift card from AC Bailey Designs. I just love my stickles, and the Maya Road accordion album. Now I got 4 big clear hanging bags and look what they included some magazines and a beautiful pencil. Thank you so much!

*I had so much fun at Scrapbook News and Review they had the "Playtime at the Pole All-Day Christmas Crop" last weekend Dec. 13. I was lucky to stayed home all day and had a great time playing and hanging out with those beautiful, sweet, friendly and funny :) ladies at SNR. Yes, I couldn't believed when I saw my screen name in the winners list. I'm so excited, I got 6 months free subscription and a $50 gift card. This is the biggest one that I won!!! SO HAPPY!

A GIFT FROM ENGLAND

WOW! What a great surprise when I saw this big envelop from England. Yes, cards and some goodies from my sweet friend Gez . I love everything. She gave me 2 x'mas cards she bought from the store and she made a gorgeous card for me the one on the top right corner. The christmas papers are beautiful, the rub-ons, and the cardstock with christmas stamped are fabulous. Thank you so much for thinking of me, you are you sweet and nice. I really appreciate it.

Kazan's Sketch 15 @ 2 Sketches 4 You


This is my entry for Kazan's Sketch #15 at 2 Sketches 4 You . I missed so many challenges in the past couple weeks, finally I made one today and I'm happy how ti turned out. I used the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper. I made this for Angela's friend, I put Hershey's miniatures inside.
This is my first time to make a mini box.

My very first x'mas card I received

My very first x'mas card I recieved from Aunt25 Jamie at scrapbook.com. I joined the Card Challenge Christmas Card Exchange by Becky CamelliaCottage. These group are super talented card maker except me lol... yes, I'm not a good card maker but I'm trying to make a nice cards. I learned from these talented ladies.

My first handmade mini x'mas stocking

This is my first handmade mini stocking. I hand sew everything because I'm lazy to use my sewing machine but I'll use it next time it's faster. I used small white mesh to make a ruffle on top then added a red ribbon. I really love how it turned out except the big sequins with beads I'm not happy with it. TFL!

Another mini gift bag...

Another mini gift bag I made from my cricut design studio. I don't have the tags, bags, boxes & more cartridge but I still can make some by using the cricut design studio on this one I used the george basic cartridge. This is so simple and easy to make. I used the Basic Grey boxer paper, then added some stickles, ribbons and flower. I put the vellum in the circle window. This is for my friend, suppose to be a surprise but it's ok I'm not going to tell what's inside. :)

My first mini bag for goodies & my x'mas cards...


This is my very first try to make a mini gift bag. W- is 3 1/2 inc. and L -is 4 1/2 inc. I made the body from my cricut design studio, I used Basic Grey paper. I doodled the white part, then I added the snowman, stickles and rhinestones. And I made a little and simple tag. I had fun doing it and I love how it turned out. So small and so simple.

Here are some of my christmas cards that I finished and the cards that I posted here and scrapbook.com. On the right side are the cards that I'm still working. :) Hope to finish it all this week and ready to mail it out next week. I start to mail some today. TFL!

Basic Grey Challenge 12 Embossing & Thanksgiving pages

My entry for basic Grey Challenge 12- Embossing. I embossed the white cs using the D'vine Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder, then inked it. I used the Basic Grey Cupcake pp.

Here are some of the cards that we made for Paul. I made all the cards and the money holder on the left. The first one on the right with green and black came from Charlene and KC they made it from the PSE. The second card from Angela and Paul II. Angela drew all the flowers and butterfly in the front and more inside the card. I'm so thankful that she can write now and started to read. The last thanksgiving card, Angela made from her school.

Our photos after dinner. We invited mother and father but father didn't make it so just mother our special guest, yes just us but everyone enjoyed and looks really happy :) My dear hubby was lucky to have his birthday again on Thanksgiving Day.

Cuttlebug Challenge #7 Embossed Die cut

Here's my entry for Cuttlebug Challenge #7 Embossed die cut. My first time to play with my cricut design studio. This is so much fun, I used the mettalic paper to cut out my design then I embossed it. I cut another star to put on the middle top then added the ornaments. And I added the foam glitter stickers tree, this is so simple but I like how it turned out.

More card, I just love my cricut design studio. I did the JOY with the stars.

Basic Grey Challenge 9 - Christmas

My entry for Basic Grey Challenge 9 Christmas. I used the Basic Grey paper Figgy Pudding. First I drew the tree then I hand cut and dressed it up. I inked the edges, added the reindeer, buttons, brads, sequins, beads and the star with jewel in the middle. I entered this card also in Nov. Card Challenge in scrapbook.com

Waikiki Aquarium


* The Waikiki Aquarium, founded in 1904, is the third oldest public aquarium in the United States. A part of the University of Hawaii since 1919, the Aquarium is located next to a living reef on the Waikiki shoreline.

My dh and my 3 kids went to Waikiki Aquarium this morning and took so many photos. This was inside the Waikiki Aquarium, the kids had so much fun.

Cuttlebug Camp Day 4

Cuttlebug Camp Day 4 *Christmas tags

My entry for Christmas tags on Cuttlebug Camp day 4. I didn't have The Winter Die Cut Set so I used my cricut machine to cut out the christmas trees, snowfalkes and stars using the doodle charms cartridge. I embossed the red cardstock with stars using the Christmas Ornaments embossing folder then added the red ribbon. I did the same thing with the green cardstock with trees but I used the Birds & swirls embossing folder. The blue with snowflakes is a vellum, I used the D'vine swirls but you couldn't see the embossed here. Please right click the photo to open a new window to see the embossed swirls.

Cuttlebug Camp Day 4

Cuttlebug Camp Day 4 *Autumn Tablescape Part 4, Tree of Thanks

My entry for Tree of Thanks. I didn't have wood branches so I used the old branches of the plastic flowers that I bought long time ago. It's good that I didn't throw away, finally I used it for good reason. I cut out the leaves from the cricut using the doodle charm cartridge. Embossed them with different embossing folders and clip it to the branches, that's how simple and easy it is. I used the small flower vase and covered with cardstock that I embossed.

Cuttlebug Camp 3rd Day *Autumn Tablescape Part 3, More Pumpkin

Another paper pumpkin for Autumn Tablescape Part 3. I used my cricut machine to make these 8 circles with scallop on the edges. Embossed them through my cuttlebug , then inked them up, folded them in half then started adhering them together. Before putting the last 2 pieces I tucked in the ribbons. This is easy to make and so much fun. I think this is great for christmas ornaments too, just used christmas colored cardstocks or patter papers. I made only one for now I'll make some more later.

Cuttlebug Camp Day 2

Cuttlebug Camp 2nd *Day Napkin Rings

My napkin rings entry for second part of your Autumn Tablescape for Cuttlebug Camp day 3. I embossed the 3" x 4" brown cardstock using the cuttlebug Spots and dots embossing folder and the 2"x 4" yellow cardstock using the D'vine swirl then inked up. I attached both end of the brown carstock then attached the yellow cardstock on top. I added the cut out leaf with the button, ribbon and the twisted craft wire. These are so cute and super easy to make.

Layout for 4 challenges

I enterd this layout for 4 challenges in scarpbook.com. I love these photos of Angela while she's painting. This was taken in Foster Botanical Garden Honolulu during the festival. She was really serious lol. I thought she made only one but she made four flowers. It came out pretty good, I love it.
I used the new line of Basic Grey Urban Prairie. Cut the title from cricut using the jasmine cartridge, then layered to white cardstock, added glitters and paint the edges. I added the pink paint brush and the plastic cup of a small paint.
